Laws of Human Nature – Robert Greene

Book - The laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene

Background -

Ever wondered why people act a certain way around you? Why they may take you for granted, lie, treat you poorly or can't see things from your point of view? Interactions between ourselves and others make up not only the majority of our memories within our day to day but have the most affect on our perception of ourselves.

These Interactions also begin to form our building blocks of our confidence, success and ability to get things done in the workplace, relationships and personal endeavours.

The book -

The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Green is a concise, informative and interesting view into the minds of others and ourselves. The book breaks down everyday Interactions and Human behaviours into multiple chapters that are founded in historic case studies, psychological research and then communicated in what the teachings can be applied to in our day to day.

The book explains seemingly unexplainable Interactions that we have with our peers, bosses and loved ones into easily digestible nuggets of wisdom and information that are not only practicable but enlightening.

Result -

This book takes a look into the mind of others and ignites an ability to understand why certain people act certain ways towards us and others. Often their actions, words and emotions are simply projections of inner turmoil, experiences or their own anxieties.

Through reading this book I now have a greater understanding of how and why people act the way they do and it has relieved me of many anxieties I held about why people act the way they act, either toward me or otherwise
