Our Story

Brothers and Books is changing the stigma around reading. The platform is responsible for thousands of new readers finding purpose in the pages of books recommended by you.

Brothers and Books has donated over 9,100 books and over $140,000 to other charities since its inception in 2020. It has established almost 60 community libraries around Australia, with the goal of utilising bibliotherapy to decrease stress and increase resilience in the workforce.

We believe all people have a story to tell, and that your experiences and advice can have a dramatic impact on others who are in a similar position. Brothers and Books provides a public or private platform for people with varying struggles to connect with those who have triumphed over them.
